Bob began as Mooroolbark's ISP mid February 2010 after concluding a similar ISP role at Mitcham Baptist Church (2008-9). Bob is married to Doseena (34 years now) and they have three adult children and two lovely grandchildren.
Most of Bob’s working life has been as a lecturer in theological education (in PNG for 20 years, Canberra and Melbourne for 10 years). Since 1993 he has also been the pastor in a number of Baptist churches in Victoria (Moe, Canterbury, Melton, Mitcham and now Mooroolbark).
Bob and Doseena have also developed alongside ISPs another pastoral care/ hospitality and friendship evangelism initiative through sea kayaking (they have 8 boats). Bob usually give one day a week to this on top of his ISP responsibilities.
Bob brings to MBC teaching/preaching/mentoring gifts and experience (and a healthy sense of humour).
He is normally available four days a week each Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for MBC duties.
