THE MAF Mareeba Team provides the heavy maintenance for aircraft

from PNG and Arnhem Land plus engineers visiting the aircraft in East

Timor, Cambodia and Bangladesh.

Lawrie writes: My role in this team involves making sure that the correct

parts are sourced from suppliers and arrive at Mareeba in time to be

fitted to the aircraft.Skills gained over all my working life and then my

engineering training on the Mission Aviation course are all being utilised

in carrying out the role that the Lord has me here for.

Dell continues to support me in this role plus having a unique role of

her own. She is strongly involved in the MAF Ladies Fellowship, is a

significant part of our local primary school as their RE teacher, and

continues to carry the role as Sunday School Superintendent and

enjoys a leadership role in the Mainly Music outreach at our Mareeba

Baptist Church.
