Classic and contemporary science fiction.

We meet each month to watch and chat about science fiction. We are currently watching the series Eureka along with the 1936 serial Flash Gordon along with episodes from classic television series such as Doctor Who and Lost In Space. The Voyager group is an informal time to meet people and share a common interest. All are welcome to come along.

Buster Crabbe stars as Flash Gordon, an adventurer who travels with his companions Dale Arden and Dr Zarkov to the planet Mongo. There they fall victim to the evil ruler Ming the Merciless. This 13-part serial was released in 1936 and was the first on screen adaptation of Alex Raymond's comic strip creation.
	Eureka is an American science fiction series starring Colin Ferguson as Sheriff Jack Carter, newly appointed to Eureka, a town populated by geniuses and scientists. Aided by his common sense, Sheriff Carter helps the towns scientists save the day time and again.
John Pertwee stars as the third Doctor in perhaps the best science fiction series of all time.
